Message
Health crises constantly threaten people all over the planet. In contrast, disasters occur suddenly and interact with unresolved health crises. The damage varies depending on the society people live in, the time of year, and the year. The "Risk Reduction for Human Security," which looks at this as broadly as possible, explores solutions and tries to give back to society. My research aims to " reduce the risk for human security, and how "Care" can be involved in this - the implementation of the nightingale in Society 5.0".
Overview of research and teaching activities
Emphasizing the need for diverse social care and risk communication, I have worked with domestic and international institutions, and attempt to transdisciplinary research to develop information systems related to self-care and primary health care for disaster risk reduction. We also construct a disaster risk monitoring model through repeated field simulations in Japan and overseas. We are working on visualization using GIS and XR. I collaborate with companies and government agencies to return these studies to society.
